RockShox (SRAM) delivers excellent quality and great value products, in this case the RockShox Recon Silver TK Fork 26 100mm. With the option of either V-brake or disc, this fork allows those of us on a budget still using V-brakes the option to upgrade later to disc brakes (which I did). The fork came in its retail box with all necessary hardware for quick swap out.

Once on the trail the ride was solid and I always felt in control. This fork was put on a dual suspension old school 2002 Jamis Dakar Comp and it rode like a brand new bike. It took the punishment that it was intended for (mind you, I live in Florida and the only hills we have down here are the highway overpasses) but the mountain bike park does have plenty of climbs and rough patches of roots and rocks. The fork did its job flawlessly. The one drawback, it's not the lightest fork but for the money you just can't beat it. I give it a 4.975 out of 5 --- because it's a bit heavy but well worth it!
