Miles For NICA: What Is NICA & How We're Supporting The Future of Cycling

We are here to support people having fun on bikes. That means kids too!

That's why we have an internal, "friendly" competition amongst all the Worldwide Cyclery staff to see who can ride the most miles. Each mile that we ride, WC will donate money to NICA.

The more we ride, the more we donate to NICA, the more we help get kids on bikes!

Here's the details. For every mile ridden by an individual WC employee, we will donate the following to NICA:

$1 for every mile ridden: 1 - 100
$0.50 for every mile ridden: 101 - 999
$0.25 for every mile ridden 1,000+

Miles Ridden: 22,838
Amount Donated: $5,769

NICA (National Interscholastic Cycling Association) was founded in 2009 and their mission is to develop interscholastic mountain biking programs for student-athletes across the United States. Simply put, their goal is to get more kids across the nation on mountain bikes. Check out some impressive metrics on what they have been able to do so far.
