Race Face Introduces J-Bend Vault Hub and Carbon Arc Rims

The Race Face Turbine R and Next R wheels have been a favorite of ours since their release. How can you beat a durable, all black, straight pull hub with high engagement? The only downfall was that the wheels the Vault hubs were equipped with were not offered as a standalone option. Meaning, if you like the hub and wanted to run an ENVE carbon rim then you would have to buy an entire wheel and swap rims. Let's be honest, you aren't going to take that much time, effort, and money to do that just for a hub.

As we know, custom wheels are becoming more and more popular. Because of this, Race Face decided to follow this trend and are now offering a j-bend version of their Vault Hub. Allowing you to create a wheel with just about any spoke, nipple, and rim combination you might want on your bike. Keeping it simple and effective with the same key features as their straight pull Vault hubs on Turbine R and Next R, the Vault J-Bend hub brings three degree engagement for quick action from pedal to hub. The stiffer flanges are designed to better transfer power and create a stiff and reliable wheel. Larger bearings were introduced with improved labyrinth seals for increased durability and tool-free end-caps and cassette bodies to allow for easy hub configuration changes.
