Industry Nine Trail S Wheelset: Customer Review

I have tried a few different wheels over the years, and I can say that the Industry Nine Trail S wheels I am now using are the ones I should have purchased in the beginning. Nothing against the other wheel companies I have used, but these I9's are amazing in all categories, weight, ease of fitting tubeless tires, engagement, appearance, price.

Set Up

When they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the weight, or lack thereof, of these wheels. Under 1700 grams for a 29'er wheel that costs under $900?! I thought it was too good to be true. Boy, was I glad to be wrong. They arrived ready to go, all I had to do was mount the tires and go ride. Included in the box were 2 spokes and spare pawl springs with O-rings.

Performance and Final Thoughts

On my 1st ride I was amazed at how fast the engagement was and how stiff they are. I am also a fan of the buzz saw sound of the freewheel. After more than a month of riding, the wheels are still straight as an arrow and the few rock strikes to the wheels have not scratched the wheels in any way. I am as happy now as I was the 1st ride on these wheels. I am an Industry Nine wheel supporter 'til the end as long as they continue to build wheels like these.

Also, the customer service at Worldwide is second to none. They were amazing throughout the entire process. They made sure I got the wheels, and then a few weeks after I received the wheels they checked in again just to make sure all was well. This was the first time I had used Worldwide, and I can say that I will continue to use their services. Great company, with outstanding customer service.
