Build Kit Not As Pictured Revel took one of our favorite bike in the line up and made it even better. The Ranger V2 features an all new rear triangle, links, hardware and SRAM’s UDH Derailleur hanger. The all new Ranger shares the effective and simple hardware design that we introduced with Rail 29". This time we took it a step further and gave the new Ranger a collet axle design with larger 15mm bearings on the lower rearward pivot. This allows for increased frame stiffness, more clearance, easier maintenance, and an even quieter ride. Revel created an all new set of links to take advantage of this hardware design. SRAM’s UDH derailleur hanger has been incorporated to keep Ranger compatible with the latest and greatest drivetrain technologies. If you are interested in a bike and would like to change some of the options we're more than happy to work with you! We want to ensure every Revel purchase is everything you could want. If you're placing an order please let us know any changes you'd like to make in the notes during checkout. After you've purchased your Revel we will reach back out and ensure that we are going to send you exactly what you wanted! KEY Features on the Revel Ranger V2 Colors: Paint and decals for Ranger V2. We have Tang – which you are familiar with from the Rail 27.5 and we are keeping the De La Coal color, but this time with new copper/gold decals. The wait is over, the new Revel Rail 29 is here and it's ready to party! Rocking 155mm of CBF patented suspension out back and a 160mm fork, the Rail 29 is a long travel 29” bike that strikes the balance between efficient and a great pedaler while also being ready to take the chunk and big hits you would expect from a bike with over 6 inches of rear travel. The Revel Rail 29 is one of the best all-around mountain bikes we have ever ridden, great for technical sections both up and downhill, big hits, going fast, or cruising the backcountry. Check out our video all about the Revel Rail 29! [Video] Filling out their line of full-suspension mountain bikes, the Rail 29 takes what we loved from the Rail with 27.5” wheels and moves that to a package with 29” rails. But don't make the mistake of thinking Revel just copied over a bike with larger wheels. This Rail 29 has been designed from the ground up with a bunch of improvements. To start the pivot hardware has been redesigned for better serviceability and durability, now only needing a single 6mm hex key to take apart the entire CBF linkage system without needing to remove the crankset, mechanics, and home wrenchers unite and sing praise! Next, the rear shock link has also been shortened to better with coils and put less stress on the shock shaft since this is a longer travel bike and made to get rowdy. There is also an addition of a SRAM UDH as well as this is Revel’s first bike with ISCG-05 tabs for a guide & bash if you choose to need that. Revel makes some extremely awesome bikes with what we think are some amazing build options. We understand that everyone has their own personal preferences for certain parts of the bike. Revel actually has different options for some components on their build spec list! If you are interested in a bike and would like to change some of the options we're more than happy to work with you! Forbidden Dreadnought The Forbidden Dreadnought is the brands longest travel enduro bike to date, its the choice for their factory race team to race Enduro World Cups on as well as their freeriders to blast jumps and demolish berms. This 150mm rear travel high pivot ripper is ready for the burliest terrain you can throw at it, the high pivot will laugh and plow, giving you confidence to go even faster. Expanding our category defying high pivot design from the Druid and applying it to a platform for the extremes. A dh bike in all but the small print, ready for the rowdiest back-country lines, the steepest race stages and the shadiest gaps in the bike park. Bring the big guns, bring the Dreadnought and fear nothing. The only thing this bike needs is a pilot ready to feed it a non-stop diet of rough and rowdy terrain. Carbon Construction As the heart of any frame, the quality of the carbon construction is paramount to both ride quality and durability. To this end, we partnered with one of the leading manufacturers in the business which allows us to stand behind our product 100%. Hardware Our hardware is a testament to our attention to detail, from the forged Rate Control linkages to the custom stainless steel screws that hold everything together, we have spared no expense in the finishing of the Dreadnought leaving nothing to chance. Ziggy Link Compatible. Mullet curious or a die-hard convert, the Dreadnought shares the same Rate Control Linkage system as its little brother, the Druid, and therefore accepts our ‘corner slaying conversion kit’, also known as Ziggy Link. Water Bottle Fitment Even our smallest Druid frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not. Frame Protection A quiet bike is a fast bike and a clean bike is less prone to problems, so we developed a full suite of custom frame protection to keep the noisy bits quiet and the hard to clean bits free from crud. Cable Routing We don’t discriminate against rightys or leftys and our adaptable cable routing allows you to neatly route the Dreadnought’s cables and hoses no matter where in the world you come from or with what hand you operate your rear brake with. Chain Guide All that high pivot goodness requires a solid chain retention solution so we turned to the chainguide experts over at ethirteen to develop a retention system specifically for the Dreadnought. Accessory Mount The ‘under the top tube’ mounting screws allow for the attachment of various accessory mounting solutions; pump, tools, a banana, the kitchen sink, go crazy, just don’t hang a water bottle there. Sensible Standards Threaded BB, Boost rear wheel spacing, press in headset cups – we only use what makes sense from a design and durability standpoint. Forbidden Druid V2 The Forbidden Druid was the Canadians brands first entry into the full suspension mountain bike market, and it came with a wave and an immediate cult following with its high pivot witchcraft. Now on its second iteration, Forbidden has only improved the Druid V2 to make it the ultimate trail bike. With geometry that effortlessly balances stability and agility, the Druid is a trail bike through and through. This bike is equally at home hammering out trail rides after work, ripping weekend shuttle laps, and crushing epic alpine traverses. This humble (on paper) trail bike boasts on-trail characteristics that don’t just punch above their class they defy classification altogether. A bike that delivers pedal-all-day efficiency when you want it and tech-descent-tackling confidence when you need it. A short travel trail bike by definition but a kilometer-crushing, chunder-devouring, fun machine by any other description. Druid V2 Frame Layout The second iteration of Druid see a shift to an inverted four-bar suspension design. This evolution was necessitated by our desire to retain the ride characteristics of the original Druid while achieving certain design goals. At the same time, we shed a little bit of weight from the main frame, whilst ensuring the bike still passes our rigorous testing regime. Hardware The bearing-in-rocker design of our new forged V2 Rate Control Linkage allows us to use locking collet axles and oversized bearings for easy maintenance and dependability. This option isn’t the lightest but trading a few grams for a long-lasting, easily serviced linkage, was the practical choice. Idler Pulley System Druid now sports an 18-tooth steel idler equipped with a solid lube bearing as standard. These changes, along with a refined tooth profile increase the idler’s longevity and ensure compatibility with the latest drivetrains. Our new idler, along with its modular mounting system is compatible and optimized for use with both 52mm and 55mm chain lines. Water Bottle Fitment Even our smallest Druid frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not. Check out the links below for Videos/Articles about Revel Bikes! Frame Protection A quiet bike is a fast bike and a clean bike is less prone to problems, so we developed a full suite of custom frame protection to keep the noisy bits quiet and the hard to clean bits free from crud. Cable Routing We don’t discriminate against rightys or leftys and our adaptable cable routing allows you to neatly route the Druid’s cables and hoses no matter where in the world you come from or with what hand you operate your rear brake with. New for V2 is the inclusion of clamping hose/cable ports on the rear triangle. This ensures no unwanted movement anywhere along the frame. Accessory Mount The ‘under the top tube’ mounting screws allow for the attachment of various accessory mounting solutions; pump, tools, a banana, the kitchen sink, go crazy, just don’t hang a water bottle there. The Yeti 160E is new for 2022 as well as Yeti’s first jump into the E-bike world. Taking from what Yeti knows and conquers in the enduro racing world, the 160E is made to be the fastest e-bike ever. With 160mm of rear travel and 170mm of front, a Shimano EP8 motor with a 630watt battery, this combination is ready to go fast over any terrain. Yeti also created a new suspension platform on the 160E called the Sixfinity. Acting similar to Yeti’s designs in the past, this new Sixfinity design was made to make room for an e-bike motor. With two build kits and two colors to choose from, the only question is what build and color will you take? Why did it take YETI so long to make the 160e? Because Yeti thought it only wise that we heed the laws of physics. So we took the time to explore and build the 160E on an all new suspension platorm, we call Sixfinity. A ground breaking design with infinite tunability, sixfinity also allows us to address the added power, weight and unique demands of an E-bike. Sure it took us some time. From what we've learned along the way, it'll save even more. The first e-bike build for racing, the 160E breaks new ground. For the new SB135, to make the best fitting bike for smaller riders, YETI designed an entirely different frame for the small and extra small sizes. Focused on minimizing stand over height, maximizing seat post insertion, and preserving space for a water bottle, we moved the forward shock mount to the downtube, designed an even more compact shock linkage, and made a completely different swing arm, all unique to these two sizes. With the ability to fit riders down to at least 4’11” the small and extra small SB135s are truly their own engineering feats within the SB135 project. ** Shock Pictured is Not Accurate** Begging for your input, chomping to respond. MULLET WHEELS / 175MM REAR TRAVEL / EMTB When Crestline Bike Co let us know what they are up to and making an emtb that was aimed to take on the rowdiest downhill trials that will also be equipped with the Bosch CX Race Motor, we were immediately interested. From being one if not the first bike to ship with the Bosch CX-Race motor and Bluetooth remote system, a removable 750wh battery, integrated display in the top tube and a charging port up high near the headtube to avoid issued with muck and damage from being down low. Other frame details include a straight 56mm headtube so you can adjust the reach with an aftermarket reach adjust headset, size-specific chainstay and rear wheel size, and the ability to swap the bike into it’s shorter travel sibling, the RS50/75. Sizing on the Crestline bikes fall into a Rider Height system, with an RH-2, RH-3 & RH-4 size to choose from. The RH-2 will be close to most mediums, RH-3 to most larges and RH-4 like most XL frames. As noted you can install an aftermarket headset to adjust the reach +/- 5mm if you desire. For the build kit, Crestline has selected a solid assortment of parts on its first limited release. Starting with suspension, Ohlins air front and rear with a Ohlins RXF38m.2 fork with 180mm travel, and a TTX2 Air 230x65 rear shock. A SRAM drivetrain will be equipped with SRAM GX Eagle AXS shifter and derailleur with a SRAM GX cassette. Banshee Phantom V3.2 - The king of “downcountry" When the first prototype Phantom first hit the trails back in 2013 there really wasn’t a category for this kind of hard charging short travel 29er. “Downcountry” hadn’t been coined yet, and the 29er haters thought a bike with these numbers could only be for XC, and not any fun. Well, the Phantom helped establish a whole new classification without even meaning to. It was simply a bike that we enjoyed riding ourselves. The Phantom V3.2 still spearheads the fact that short travel 29er’s can be a blast to ride. The playful Phantom V3.2 sports the KS2 linkage with 115mm of travel. Incredible trail feel with the perfect amount of feedback that rewards you for nailing the perfect line, yet lets you flirt with the limits for when you push things. *** Please contact us about getting your Deviate Claymore custom built by Worldwide Cyclery ***The Deviate Claymore - a 165mm High Pivot Enduro Bike The Claymore was a medieval Scottish two-handed great sword. Extremely long - typically the blade was over 140cm in length - the Claymore was more than merely a sword: it was a symbol of strength and martial prowess, and an unmistakable link to the rugged Scottish Highlands for whoever bore it. Deviate’s Claymore is the same, born in the rocks and roots of the Scottish Highlands, and the weapon of choice for the most brutal terrain anywhere in the world. Whether you get your kicks from plummeting down the nastiest, root strewn drops, or hurtling between the tapes so fast things get blurry around the edges, the Claymore is the bike for you. Speed without sacrifice We wanted the Claymore to be the best handling, long-travel enduro bike out there - and we think we’ve succeeded. It’s the perfect combination of blindingly fast on the straights, slot-car accurate in the corners and capable of mixing it up with trail bikes on the ups. The design brief was to create an enduro bike capable of winning on the toughest of enduro stages, with pedal performance to match a trail bike and an element of playfulness for those days when you’re not between the tape. High Pivot Point To achieve this seemingly impossible brief, we once again turned to a high pivot point suspension system. The key feature of a high pivot suspension system, is its unique ability - thanks to the rearward axle path - to smooth out the nastiest of trails, and to stabilise the bike when it’s deep in the suspension stroke. Couple this with a precisely placed chain idler to minimise suspension-induced kickback and control anti-squat (aka pedal induced bob), and you have a pretty magical suspension system. Deviate has been designing high pivot point bikes since 2016 - flying the flag of what back then was a niche trend in suspension design. Forward to 2022 and it flatters us to see so many high pivot bikes achieving success at the highest level. Our extensive experience designing nothing but high pivots means we can confidently claim that our system is the most robust and well engineered out there. Geometry We designed the Claymore to be confidence inspiring no matter what the terrain. The unique kinematics of a high pivot point design maintains chassis stability and geometry under heavy braking. This allows our designers to achieve stability and straight line speed while maintaining sensible geometry. Of course, the head-angle is slack, the reach is long and we’ve also made the Claymore’s seat tube steep, to help with climbing. But it’s not too steep; not too slack; not too long. Not every enduro track or secret trail is the same, so we’ve designed the Claymore to hit the sweet spot where flat-out stability and snake-like agility meet. If you like to make the world a blur between the tapes on a flat out alpine enduro track, or if the steepest, gnarliest tightest terrain is more your thing, this is the bike for you. ENTER THE INSURGENT If necessity is the mother of invention, then the pursuit of useless is the father of joy. Because it’s the unnecessary things that make life sing: the berm slash, the millisecond manual you slip between turns, the sloppy scrub, the bar hump to make the crew laugh. With more travel, 168mm versus 150mm on the Insurgent v1, both iterations of the new Insurgent celebrate the long send. It’s an on-command jump, drift, manual, pop, trail mulching machine. This is a bike built for the shits and giggles that happen when one isn’t timed or judged. So cut the rhetoric. Cut the tape. Cut the corners by clearing them completely, switchback to switchback and back into the future. The Insurgent doesn’t try to win enduro tracks. It shreds them. The Insurgent is available in both full 27.5” and a mixed-wheel 29”/27.5” MX version. Small wheels for the park, jumps, whips, and berms, or MX for increased front wheel traction, steeper lines, heavy slabs and chunder crushing. 27.5” never died. It just quit caring what people think. Enter the Insurgent. THE BALANCE OF FUN, POP AND CRUSHING ROCK GARDENS The original Insurgent was born in a time of turmoil, 26 was dying, 27.5 and 29 were the flavor of the day and nobody could decide which one they liked better. We tuned out the noise, busted out of the trends and made a bike that's fun and had us slashing corners, ripping single track and hitting jump lines. It didn't disappoint us then, and now it's just a little bit better'er. The Insurgent is ready to suit your shredding needs. If your favorite past-time is racking up king-of-the-mountain accents and padding your strava stats then you can choose between a RockShox Monarch Plus or the Fox DPX2 rear shock to convert all your power into momentum with mind bending traction and a dependable feeling of plushness. If you prefer sending-it-to-flat, upgrade to the Push ElevenSix, which turns the bike into a square-edge-hit, traction generating, and bottomless feeling two wheeled death machine *Please note: EVIL frames and complete bikes cannot be shipped internationally, and can only be distributed within the USA* WHAT SIZE IS THE SEAT POST?The Insurgent uses a 30.9 Stealth seat post and a 34.9 seat clamp. WHAT IS THE WARRANTY ON THE INSURGENT?Limited Lifetime Warranty WHAT TYPE OF HEADSET DOES THE INSURGENT USE?The Insurgent comes with a Works Components 1 Degree ZS44/ZS62 Integrated Angle Headset – For Tapered Steerer. HOW DO I ADJUST MY FLIP CHIPS?On each side, remove the upper and lower bone link bolts and then the remove 3 flip-chip bolts. Lightly wiggle the flip chips free and flip 180 degrees with desired position markings facing up. The flip-chip position will be visible when sitting on the bike and should read Low/X-Low. The Offering of Adventure The Offering, our new FULLY OPTIMIZED 140mm rear travel 29” mountain bike with a steeper 77° seat angle, metric trunnion-mounted rear shock, and enough tire clearance to run 2.6” rubber. Taking the best attributes from both the Following MB and the Wreckoning LB, while developing its own character, the Offering provides a new experience with longer reach while creating a bike that has all the same pop with an increase in stability without sacrificing corner destroying performance. The Offering is the 140mm travel 29er that has a taste for adventure and everything you need to crush epic all-day trail missions, slash berms, and send every jump line you can find. The steeper seat angle encourages you to attack the climbs while any of our trunnion mounted shock options means no downhill is safe. The Offering is complete with more tire clearance, chain clearance, lower shock mount drain and the return of a black frame option make us very excited to release this into your fine Evil hands. Attacking The Climb Without Sacrificing The Shred. A proper pocketknife covers all the slicing tasks you imagine, and the unexpected ones in between. Our Offering platform aims to do the same. The bike is stiff and responsive, pairing the smooth pedaling platform of our Following with some added padding so you can release the brakes and let gravity take over. So, what’s been lightly salted here? We’ve found a few dark elements to crank up the Offering’s all-mountain appetite. Alongside a pair of limited-edition color options, we’ve added SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) that’s easily found at your local bike shop. If the tiny backwoods shop has any modern hanger in stock, it’ll be this one. We’ve heard the battle cries over trunnion shock spacers and responded by capturing them in the linkage, so you no longer have to fiddle and fumble when installing shocks. Slide the shock in place, torque all three bolts, and get back to drifting. To polish this shiny knife, Evil will offer free annual bearing replacements on all of our bikes, from 2022 forward. Original owners can register their bikes on the Evil website and order a set of replacement bearings once per season. See our warranty site for more details to keep those pivots prime. The tail of this 141mm bike will ramp up fast for a lively position on the “spry-ride to bulldozer” continuum. You can certainly line up at a local enduro with the Offering, and we shaped it to leap ruts and boost over roots beneath creative riders who prefer the bonus line to the shortest one. A flip-chip and optional angle sets offer six posture options for the Offering LS. These variables allow riders to dial their Offering in sync with their trails and riding style. Keep it set low for flatter local tracks, with a quick flip of the chips to achieve that X-Low bike park stance. All three Offering LS builds come with top-shelf RockShox suspension that’s tuned to provide comfort and support right where you want it. Bolt on our carbon Loopholes or the Industry Nine wheelset, the gold-standard Bike Yoke dropper, a powerful set of 4-piston brakes, and this ride is dressed for any party you drop in to. The Wreckoning is Evil’s big-wheeled, ride-anything, pedal-assisted DH rig. Since launching in 2016, it’s been called a traction factory and a game changer, but we can’t settle for good enough. We always aim for awesome’er. So, with more travel and further refinement of the details that make the Wreckoning rad, this bike confirms its role alongside the fear-seeking anti-hero who yearns for a comfy ride up and an uncomfortably fast down. In other words, it’s only a trail bike until gravity is applied. Then it resonates on an ungodly frequency. Be the one-demon Wreckoning crew you always wanted to be. Redesigned from scratch and showing off a fresh look, we set our sights on improving our 29’er 166mm steed capable of spinning long days in the saddle but still ready to smash Strava a new one. Yes, it Enduros. It also rampages like Aggy, gets Fest-ive like Sorge, and wrecks cocky KOM overachievers on the daily. The Wreckoning decimates tired billy goat clichés and elevates regular riders to God-like status on everything from manicured bike park berms to imaginary freeride dream lines. How did we do it? Let us walk you through how the Wreckoning got better’er…yet again. Maybe what’s most exciting is the bike’s sheer mind-expanding spectrum of options—customization runs thick in the Wreckoning’s bloodstream. Want steep aggressive angles on a burly trail bike? Set the Flip Chip to the “LOW” position and run a 160mm fork. Looking for a do-everything, one-bike quiver? Go with a 170mm fork and the bike climbs as well as it descends on all terrain. Ready to channel your inner Aggy and throw a freeride rampage? Run a 190mm fork and double down with our stock RockShox Super Deluxe coil rear suspension. Short chain stays keep every rider manualing regardless of the setup. Through any number of Flip Chip positions and choice of fork, the geometry gets dialed into your style of riding, by the bike, the day…even by the trail. This is your bike. Make it work for you. Evil engineering genius Dave Weagle also improved on the Wreckoning by borrowing the pedal-friendly pop of the Following and Offering, and then dialing it in with a legacy downhill heritage only he can lay claim to. To achieve a complementary climbing ability for this leg-powered DH bike, the leverage curve has been revised, starting with the high-end leverage to maintain that supple, smooth pedaling feel we all love so much. As the leverage decreases slowly through the mid stroke, it provides a ton of efficient support to push against while the end stroke sees the lowest leverage. What this means for you is a 166mm bike that feels like 200mm. An extra 5 millimetres never made such a difference. Soft and plush is all good, but anyone who’s been halfway through a rowdy, rock-strewn chute knows the value of stiffness too. The Wreckoning utilizes 157 Super Boost, the new standard of rear axle spacing for any rider who takes shred seriously. Add in the unified rear triangle and you’re ensured a firm AF frame when the going gets capital “G” good gawd gnarly. The remaining details include all the goodness every bike worth its salty sass should have: full internal cable routing, integrated chain guide, and rubber sound-cancelling chain stay protectors we like to call Sound Mounds. All of this to simply say, The Wreckoning has arrived…again. And it’s more evil than ever. Bow down. The Canfield Tilt is a 29er built to be the best all around trail bike rocking the patented Canfield Balance Formula™ suspension. Picking up where the revered Riot (Toir) left off, the Tilt is a mid-travel 29-inch mountain bike designed from the dirt up to be the most fun you can have on two wheels, whether it’s an after-work rip or an all-day epic. With either 138 or 125 millimeters of rear wheel travel (adjustable via shock stroke) paired to CBF ™ linkage, the Tilt is an efficient all-rounder that can climb as well as it can go down. But make no mistake—like any bike with a skull on the headtube, it’s ready to party when gravity takes over. CBF ™ has been refined even further for the Tilt. The result is anti-squat that is more focused in the ideal range throughout the entire range of travel. An updated leverage curve creates more beginning and mid-stroke support for an even better pedaling platform, and slightly more progressive end of stroke ramp-up. The benefits don't end at pedaling efficiency. Chaingrowth has been reduced, resulting in even less pedal kickback to keep you glued to the pedals under hard compressions. And anti-rise values are lower for more composed braking and preserved geometry when you throw out the anchor on steep sections of trail. Canfield dialed the geo to strike the perfect balance of snappy, responsive handling and stability at speed. A 65-degree head angle leads the charge when the going gets rowdy and 425-millimeter chainstays let you change direction just by thinking about your next line choice. A 77-degree effective seat angle keeps you in the power position while climbing. We’ve also refined the reach, stack, seat tube length and standover across all sizes for a better fit. While the Tilt’s frame may look familiar at first glance, there’s more than meets the eye. An all-new clamshell bottom bracket assembly reduces the number of individual welded parts, simplifying production, ensuring precise frame alignment and creating an even stronger junction between the down tube, seat tube and linkage.A beautifully machined 7075 T6 alloy one-piece upper link inspired by the big-hit bikes like the Balance and ONE.2 paired with an all-new rear triangle have significantly increased overall stiffness and handling compared to its predecessor. One-piece forged vertical stays are at the heart of the redesigned rear triangle, maximizing stiffness, strength and durability. A horizontal seat stay brace ties it all together, further bolstering lateral stiffness. The Canfield Tilt is destined to be your weapon of choice regardless of where the ride takes you. The Canfield Lithium is the first long-travel 29er worthy of wearing a skull on the head tube. Designed to destroy big descents with reckless abandon, unafraid of the effort required to earn them. From enduro stages to bike park laps and backcountry adventures, the Lithium is a big-wheeled warrior ready for anything the mountain throws your way thanks to the secret sauce of the patented Canfield Balance Formula™ suspension. With either 163 or 151 millimeters of rear wheel travel (adjustable via shock stroke) paired to the active and efficient CBF™ tuned linkage, the Lithium is born in the lineage of the legendary Balance. But thanks to 29-inch wheels, it’s got even more of a penchant for ludicrous speed and stands ready to flatten any terrain and wage all-out war on the Strava segments of lesser bikes. But don’t think for a second Canfield forgot fun in favor of going flat out. The signature Canfield geo has been optimized to create a bike as lively and intuitive as it is stable and confidence inspiring. The 430-millimeter chainstays make last-second maneuvers and manuals second nature, and a 64.5-degree head angle paired with a 170-millimeter fork makes any line choice possible. We’ve also refined the reach, stack, seat tube length and standover across all sizes for a more dialed fit. CBF ™ has been refined even further for the Lithium. The electrified Epocalypse is your tractor beam to the summit. This long travel overlander is prepped for the end of days, placing direct current between your heels to turn the steepest ascents into provocative dares. Inspired by our beloved Wreckoning platform, the battery boosted Epocalypse rides above two 29” wheels with 166mm of rear travel and 170mm below the bars. Posture for this genre-fluid beast closely resembles that of the Wreckoning for a proper dance party deep in the trees. The geometry teeter totter is well balanced across the Evil family tree and the Epocalypse drops into a cozy branch alongside its gravity kin. Epocalyptic lightning flows into a low-slung Shimano EP8 motor to kick out 85Nm of pedal assistance at full throttle, backed by the brand’s burly 630Wh battery for max laps. Spin it up and let the good times rip! The motor’s trail-hugging heft will dig those rubber lugs in deep for unshakable stability and traction. Between the juiced watts and the pedaling prowess of our DELTA System, few ascents will tilt too steep for the Epocalypse. Electrified bikes are a blast whether gravity’s helping or hindering, and the engineers at Evil worked closely with Shimano to achieve an ideal power balance. Good luck locating a slope that the Epocalypse can’t scale. After two years of rigorous testing and perfecting we’ve created the right machine for any rider’s version of fun. A pair of sturdy carbon triangles surrounds the EP8 powerhouse, protected from front tire projectiles by a custom skid plate beneath the motor and a shuttle shield under the downtube. As ever, chain slap is silenced by a hefty sound mound strip on the chain stay, and there’s a second slab of ‘shut-up” inside the seat stay. Our refined vascular system guides housing and hoses discretely through the frame, and some massive main-pivot bearings are ready to carry the powerful Epocalypse load all season long. A SRAM UDH derailleur hanger dangles from our SuperBoost+ rear end, keeping those precious drivetrain bits shifty, and hangers are available at most shops if you manage to clip a passing rock. In fact, each of the bike’s electric and analog components can be had at your local two-wheel Evil dealer, keeping the ride rolling and the maintenance time minimal. We wreckon these 442mm chain stays are worth a shout. The Epocalypse boasts some of the shortest carbon stays of any 29” ebike on the market, maintaining that Evil slap-happy, side-hit slashing, dumb-gap trying DNA we all know and love. If you’re searching for a lightning-powered unicorn that’s deft at stabilizing descents and lofting roots whenever it’s asked, you’ve found it. We’ll leave you to choose between Low and X-Low geometry settings, and to select the standard or angle-adjust headset that best suits your style. The potential advantages of an electric Wreckoning run deep. More laps in a day, longer rides with friends, additional carrying capacity for dig days, and faster lunch laps when the schedule overflows. Adding battery power to your stable will morph rest days on the couch into trail parties with friends. We’re confident your sofa won’t mind.
