ENTER THE INSURGENT If necessity is the mother of invention, then the pursuit of useless is the father of joy. Because it’s the unnecessary things that make life sing: the berm slash, the millisecond manual you slip between turns, the sloppy scrub, the bar hump to make the crew laugh. With more travel, 168mm versus 150mm on the Insurgent v1, both iterations of the new Insurgent celebrate the long send. It’s an on-command jump, drift, manual, pop, trail mulching machine. This is a bike built for the shits and giggles that happen when one isn’t timed or judged. So cut the rhetoric. Cut the tape. Cut the corners by clearing them completely, switchback to switchback and back into the future. The Insurgent doesn’t try to win enduro tracks. It shreds them. The Insurgent is available in both full 27.5” and a mixed-wheel 29”/27.5” MX version. Small wheels for the park, jumps, whips, and berms, or MX for increased front wheel traction, steeper lines, heavy slabs and chunder crushing. 27.5” never died. It just quit caring what people think. Enter the Insurgent. THE BALANCE OF FUN, POP AND CRUSHING ROCK GARDENS The original Insurgent was born in a time of turmoil, 26 was dying, 27.5 and 29 were the flavor of the day and nobody could decide which one they liked better. We tuned out the noise, busted out of the trends and made a bike that's fun and had us slashing corners, ripping single track and hitting jump lines. It didn't disappoint us then, and now it's just a little bit better'er. The Insurgent is ready to suit your shredding needs. If your favorite past-time is racking up king-of-the-mountain accents and padding your strava stats then you can choose between a RockShox Monarch Plus or the Fox DPX2 rear shock to convert all your power into momentum with mind bending traction and a dependable feeling of plushness. If you prefer sending-it-to-flat, upgrade to the Push ElevenSix, which turns the bike into a square-edge-hit, traction generating, and bottomless feeling two wheeled death machine *Please note: EVIL frames and complete bikes cannot be shipped internationally, and can only be distributed within the USA* WHAT SIZE IS THE SEAT POST?The Insurgent uses a 30.9 Stealth seat post and a 34.9 seat clamp. WHAT IS THE WARRANTY ON THE INSURGENT?Limited Lifetime Warranty WHAT TYPE OF HEADSET DOES THE INSURGENT USE?The Insurgent comes with a Works Components 1 Degree ZS44/ZS62 Integrated Angle Headset – For Tapered Steerer. HOW DO I ADJUST MY FLIP CHIPS?On each side, remove the upper and lower bone link bolts and then the remove 3 flip-chip bolts. Lightly wiggle the flip chips free and flip 180 degrees with desired position markings facing up. The flip-chip position will be visible when sitting on the bike and should read Low/X-Low. The Offering of Adventure The Offering, our new FULLY OPTIMIZED 140mm rear travel 29” mountain bike with a steeper 77° seat angle, metric trunnion-mounted rear shock, and enough tire clearance to run 2.6” rubber. Taking the best attributes from both the Following MB and the Wreckoning LB, while developing its own character, the Offering provides a new experience with longer reach while creating a bike that has all the same pop with an increase in stability without sacrificing corner destroying performance. The Offering is the 140mm travel 29er that has a taste for adventure and everything you need to crush epic all-day trail missions, slash berms, and send every jump line you can find. The steeper seat angle encourages you to attack the climbs while any of our trunnion mounted shock options means no downhill is safe. The Offering is complete with more tire clearance, chain clearance, lower shock mount drain and the return of a black frame option make us very excited to release this into your fine Evil hands. Attacking The Climb Without Sacrificing The Shred. A proper pocketknife covers all the slicing tasks you imagine, and the unexpected ones in between. Our Offering platform aims to do the same. The bike is stiff and responsive, pairing the smooth pedaling platform of our Following with some added padding so you can release the brakes and let gravity take over. So, what’s been lightly salted here? We’ve found a few dark elements to crank up the Offering’s all-mountain appetite. Alongside a pair of limited-edition color options, we’ve added SRAM’s Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) that’s easily found at your local bike shop. If the tiny backwoods shop has any modern hanger in stock, it’ll be this one. We’ve heard the battle cries over trunnion shock spacers and responded by capturing them in the linkage, so you no longer have to fiddle and fumble when installing shocks. Slide the shock in place, torque all three bolts, and get back to drifting. To polish this shiny knife, Evil will offer free annual bearing replacements on all of our bikes, from 2022 forward. Original owners can register their bikes on the Evil website and order a set of replacement bearings once per season. See our warranty site for more details to keep those pivots prime. The tail of this 141mm bike will ramp up fast for a lively position on the “spry-ride to bulldozer” continuum. You can certainly line up at a local enduro with the Offering, and we shaped it to leap ruts and boost over roots beneath creative riders who prefer the bonus line to the shortest one. A flip-chip and optional angle sets offer six posture options for the Offering LS. These variables allow riders to dial their Offering in sync with their trails and riding style. Keep it set low for flatter local tracks, with a quick flip of the chips to achieve that X-Low bike park stance. All three Offering LS builds come with top-shelf RockShox suspension that’s tuned to provide comfort and support right where you want it. Bolt on our carbon Loopholes or the Industry Nine wheelset, the gold-standard Bike Yoke dropper, a powerful set of 4-piston brakes, and this ride is dressed for any party you drop in to. The Wreckoning is Evil’s big-wheeled, ride-anything, pedal-assisted DH rig. Since launching in 2016, it’s been called a traction factory and a game changer, but we can’t settle for good enough. We always aim for awesome’er. So, with more travel and further refinement of the details that make the Wreckoning rad, this bike confirms its role alongside the fear-seeking anti-hero who yearns for a comfy ride up and an uncomfortably fast down. In other words, it’s only a trail bike until gravity is applied. Then it resonates on an ungodly frequency. Be the one-demon Wreckoning crew you always wanted to be. Redesigned from scratch and showing off a fresh look, we set our sights on improving our 29’er 166mm steed capable of spinning long days in the saddle but still ready to smash Strava a new one. Yes, it Enduros. It also rampages like Aggy, gets Fest-ive like Sorge, and wrecks cocky KOM overachievers on the daily. The Wreckoning decimates tired billy goat clichés and elevates regular riders to God-like status on everything from manicured bike park berms to imaginary freeride dream lines. How did we do it? Let us walk you through how the Wreckoning got better’er…yet again. Maybe what’s most exciting is the bike’s sheer mind-expanding spectrum of options—customization runs thick in the Wreckoning’s bloodstream. Want steep aggressive angles on a burly trail bike? Set the Flip Chip to the “LOW” position and run a 160mm fork. Looking for a do-everything, one-bike quiver? Go with a 170mm fork and the bike climbs as well as it descends on all terrain. Ready to channel your inner Aggy and throw a freeride rampage? Run a 190mm fork and double down with our stock RockShox Super Deluxe coil rear suspension. Short chain stays keep every rider manualing regardless of the setup. Through any number of Flip Chip positions and choice of fork, the geometry gets dialed into your style of riding, by the bike, the day…even by the trail. This is your bike. Make it work for you. Evil engineering genius Dave Weagle also improved on the Wreckoning by borrowing the pedal-friendly pop of the Following and Offering, and then dialing it in with a legacy downhill heritage only he can lay claim to. To achieve a complementary climbing ability for this leg-powered DH bike, the leverage curve has been revised, starting with the high-end leverage to maintain that supple, smooth pedaling feel we all love so much. As the leverage decreases slowly through the mid stroke, it provides a ton of efficient support to push against while the end stroke sees the lowest leverage. What this means for you is a 166mm bike that feels like 200mm. An extra 5 millimetres never made such a difference. Soft and plush is all good, but anyone who’s been halfway through a rowdy, rock-strewn chute knows the value of stiffness too. The Wreckoning utilizes 157 Super Boost, the new standard of rear axle spacing for any rider who takes shred seriously. Add in the unified rear triangle and you’re ensured a firm AF frame when the going gets capital “G” good gawd gnarly. The remaining details include all the goodness every bike worth its salty sass should have: full internal cable routing, integrated chain guide, and rubber sound-cancelling chain stay protectors we like to call Sound Mounds. All of this to simply say, The Wreckoning has arrived…again. And it’s more evil than ever. Bow down. The Canfield Tilt is a 29er built to be the best all around trail bike rocking the patented Canfield Balance Formula™ suspension. Picking up where the revered Riot (Toir) left off, the Tilt is a mid-travel 29-inch mountain bike designed from the dirt up to be the most fun you can have on two wheels, whether it’s an after-work rip or an all-day epic. With either 138 or 125 millimeters of rear wheel travel (adjustable via shock stroke) paired to CBF ™ linkage, the Tilt is an efficient all-rounder that can climb as well as it can go down. But make no mistake—like any bike with a skull on the headtube, it’s ready to party when gravity takes over. CBF ™ has been refined even further for the Tilt. The result is anti-squat that is more focused in the ideal range throughout the entire range of travel. An updated leverage curve creates more beginning and mid-stroke support for an even better pedaling platform, and slightly more progressive end of stroke ramp-up. The benefits don't end at pedaling efficiency. Chaingrowth has been reduced, resulting in even less pedal kickback to keep you glued to the pedals under hard compressions. And anti-rise values are lower for more composed braking and preserved geometry when you throw out the anchor on steep sections of trail. Canfield dialed the geo to strike the perfect balance of snappy, responsive handling and stability at speed. A 65-degree head angle leads the charge when the going gets rowdy and 425-millimeter chainstays let you change direction just by thinking about your next line choice. A 77-degree effective seat angle keeps you in the power position while climbing. We’ve also refined the reach, stack, seat tube length and standover across all sizes for a better fit. While the Tilt’s frame may look familiar at first glance, there’s more than meets the eye. An all-new clamshell bottom bracket assembly reduces the number of individual welded parts, simplifying production, ensuring precise frame alignment and creating an even stronger junction between the down tube, seat tube and linkage.A beautifully machined 7075 T6 alloy one-piece upper link inspired by the big-hit bikes like the Balance and ONE.2 paired with an all-new rear triangle have significantly increased overall stiffness and handling compared to its predecessor. One-piece forged vertical stays are at the heart of the redesigned rear triangle, maximizing stiffness, strength and durability. A horizontal seat stay brace ties it all together, further bolstering lateral stiffness. The Canfield Tilt is destined to be your weapon of choice regardless of where the ride takes you. Forward Geometry 2022 makes the ninth season for our geometry concept that turns every Mondraker into a bike with unique riding benefits and better performance above the rest of average mountain bikes. Mondraker’s FORWARD GEOMETRY has proven to be the geometry benchmark for high-end performance mountain bikes nowadays and this is one of our proprietary most unique leading technologies to date. Every year we keep refining the concept and for 2022 we have applied slight geometry changes to improve performance even more, increasing riding efficiency and control. Common feature for the last three seasons is the introduction of shorter fork offsets which perfectly match FORWARD GEOMETRY with clear performance gains: increased stability at speed, better front wheel control and dramatically improved front tire grip. Extensive testing has proved that shorter fork offsets have its biggest and superior benefits in combination with our genuine and distinctive FORWARD GEOMETRY concept with its super responsive and direct steering featuring FG30mm stem and long reach. The increase in trail boosts steering stability. The result: Shorter offsets combined with FORWARD GEOMETRY translates into a more playful ride, the feeling that you can attack harder in corners with extra confidence and added grip as a bonus, and a more enjoyable and faster ride overall. FORWARD GEOMETRY main advantages are an increased safety and confidence riding steep chutes even at high speeds, more reactive, precise and direct handling, more uphill precision and more stability in technical and rough terrain with better grip and improved control overall. Zero Suspension System ZERO is a dual link design with the shock floating between the two suspension links and compressed from both ends. This makes the rear suspension extremely sensitive on small bumps and big hit capable. ZERO superior technologies’ main advantages are ZERO power loss a completely stable ride when pedalling, ZERO pedal kickback-minimum chain growth throughout the suspension travel. ZERO brake jack, isolated braking and suspension forces, and what we call ZERO bumps, its great ability to soak up any type of bump keeping the rear wheel efficiently planted on the ground. Stealth Carbon Is the most advanced carbon fibre development and optimisation technology in the Mondraker range. This constantly developing technology brings all the experience gained in making aluminium frames to top of the range carbon fibre to meet the same innovation, maximum quality, minimum weight and strength requirements. Carbon fibre layers’ placement is a crucial technique with specific positioning and direction of the different quality fibres for each bike type and model. The result is a frame with the best strength / structural rigidity / trail buzz absorption / lightness ratio, exceptional reliability and a very attractive and unique 100% Mondraker look. ZERO superior technologies’ main advantages are ZERO power loss -a completely stable ride when pedalling-, ZERO pedal kickback-minimum chain growth throughout the suspension travel-, ZERO brake jack – isolated braking and suspension forces - and what we call ZERO bumps, its great ability to soak up any type of bump keeping the rear wheel efficiently planted on the ground. Build Kit Not as Pictured Forbidden Druid V2 The Forbidden Druid was the Canadians brands fiRockShoxt entry into the full suspension mountain bike market, and it came with a wave and an immediate cult following with its high pivot witchcraft. Now on its second iteration, Forbidden has only improved the Druid V2 to make it the ultimate trail bike. With geometry that effortlessly balances stability and agility, the Druid is a trail bike through and through. This bike is equally at home hammering out trail rides after work, ripping weekend shuttle laps, and crushing epic alpine traveRockShoxes. This humble (on paper) trail bike boasts on-trail characteristics that don’t just punch above their class they defy classification altogether. A bike that deliveRockShox pedal-all-day efficiency when you want it and tech-descent-tackling confidence when you need it. A short travel trail bike by definition but a kilometer-crushing, chunder-devouring, fun machine by any other description. Druid V2 Frame Layout The second iteration of Druid see a shift to an inverted four-bar suspension design. This evolution was necessitated by our desire to retain the ride characteristics of the original Druid while achieving certain design goals. At the same time, we shed a little bit of weight from the main frame, whilst ensuring the bike still passes our rigorous testing regime. Hardware The bearing-in-rocker design of our new forged V2 Rate Control Linkage allows us to use locking collet axles and oveRockShoxized bearings for easy maintenance and dependability. This option isn’t the lightest but trading a few grams for a long-lasting, easily serviced linkage, was the practical choice. Idler Pulley System Druid now sports an 18-tooth steel idler equipped with a solid lube bearing as standard. These changes, along with a refined tooth profile increase the idler’s longevity and ensure compatibility with the latest drivetrains. Our new idler, along with its modular mounting system is compatible and optimized for use with both 52mm and 55mm chain lines. Water Bottle Fitment Even our smallest Druid frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not. Frame Protection A quiet bike is a fast bike and a clean bike is less prone to problems, so we developed a full suite of custom frame protection to keep the noisy bits quiet and the hard to clean bits free from crud. Cable Routing We don’t discriminate against rightys or leftys and our adaptable cable routing allows you to neatly route the Druid’s cables and hoses no matter where in the world you come from or with what hand you operate your rear brake with. New for V2 is the inclusion of clamping hose/cable ports on the rear triangle. This ensures no unwanted movement anywhere along the frame. Accessory Mount The ‘under the top tube’ mounting screws allow for the attachment of various accessory mounting solutions; pump, tools, a banana, the kitchen sink, go crazy, just don’t hang a water bottle there. Sensible Standards Threaded BB, Boost rear wheel spacing, press in headset cups – we only use what makes sense from a design and durability standpoint. You won’t find any questionable trends here – looking at you headset cable routing. Forbidden Dreadnought V2 Dreadnought forged a new path for performance high pivot bikes and cemented the platform's category-defying nature. It dealt handily with the demands of the World Cup Downhill circuit, revelled in the rigouRockShox of enduro racing, and endured lap after lap of abuse in the bike park, while still craving more. From the race track to the bike park and everything in between, Dreadnought has proven its unparalleled veRockShoxatility. Now it’s time for the big guns to get the V2 treatment. Dreadnought V2 carries the torch forward into a new realm of capability, giving rideRockShox even more firepower than ever before. We’ve taken our next-gen suspension system, seen on the class-leading Druid and Supernought, and applied it to our revered brawler of a bike. We didn’t just up the calibre, add more travel, and call it good. We overhauled every detail to refine and distill its purpose into something that exhilarates. The industry's most refined high pivot layout is now available on our 160mm Enduro/Bike Park platform. Dreadnought is a carefully concocted blend of Supernought speed and stability mixed with Druid's agility and pop. Delivering a bike that might have you reconsidering wearing a full-face helmet full-time. Wheel size configuration changes are achieved via modular dropouts. Meaningful geometry and weight bias adjustments are also be made via 27.5” +10mm, 27.5” -10mm, and 29” +10mm dropouts (available soon!). Giving rideRockShox the option to customize weight bias and handling characteristics to suit riding style or terrain type. 200mm direct brake mount included as standard. Dreadnought framekits are sold with MX and 29” dropouts. Forbideen collaborated with their factory race team and their team of test rideRockShox to gather feedback on the O.G. Dreadnought and the current V2 platform bikes. Forbidden opted for a more centered weight distribution that deliveRockShox intuitive handling in all situations and a larger rider sweet spot in the cockpit. Giving rideRockShox more confidence and comfort to trust both the bike and themselves when things get rowdy. Still the industry’s only truly proportional sizing. Our rear centeRockShox change in proportion to our front center measurements. And while we often talk about those changes as an increase as we move up in size, we can also look at it as a decrease when we move in the opposite direction. Our S1 sports some of the smallest reach and rear center measurements of any dual 29 mtb in the enduro category. The underlying philosophy is to ensure that rideRockShox of different sizes can experience the same intended weight balance and ride characteristics of our bikes. The goal with Dreadnought V2 was to maintain its uncanny ability to absolutely plough through rough terrain while giving rideRockShox more mid-stroke support to pump and generate speed from the ground. We’ve done this without giving up any sensitivity and grip, while also improving bottom-out control and optimizing braking characteristics. Forbidden Dreadnought V2 MX Dreadnought forged a new path for performance high pivot bikes and cemented the platform's category-defying nature. It dealt handily with the demands of the World Cup Downhill circuit, revelled in the rigouRockShox of enduro racing, and endured lap after lap of abuse in the bike park, while still craving more. Dreadnought V2 carries the torch forward into a new realm of capability, giving rideRockShox even more firepower than ever before. We’ve taken our next-gen suspension system, seen on the class-leading Druid and Supernought, and applied it to our revered brawler of a bike. SB165 Mixed Wheel 29"/27.5" Master of the gnarniverse. A bold claim for some. Fact-checked humility for the SB165. At home outside the tape, beyond the norm. Taken on the trails nobody talks about. Trusted on the lines where mistakes can’t happen. Comfortable with all the chaos. Pleased when you’re puckered. Fearless of your fear. The SB165 is built tough. The frame meets Yeti DH testing standards, well beyond what others do for a 165mm trail bike. This thing will last for a lifetime, but we gave you a warranty to match just for good measure. Across our line, Yeti have chosen a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve in the beginning and mid-section of travel where pedaling commonly occurs a.k.a. the pedaling zone. This creates an efficient pedaling platform through your entire pedaling zone, as opposed to one single point. After the pedaling zone, there is an inflection point where the Switch Infinity link moves down, dropping the anti-squat drastically. Riders are typically not pedaling in this zone, so chain forces have less of an effect on the suspension performance. Decoupling of the chain forces allows the suspension to work more efficiently to absorb impacts making the feel of a Yeti distinct. Click here if you would like to demo one of our Yeti's!
