Wolftooth Components are known for their high-quality CNC machined cycling components, from their original Drop-Stop chainrings to their dropper post ReMotes, as well as many other American made drivetrain components. Lately, they have been expanding into other riding accessories, like their new Pack Pliers - Master Link Combo Pliers.
To further expand on their B-RAD™ (Bottle Relocation and Accessory Device) system, they have come up with a few new additions to the system.
Introducing the Pump and Roll-Top Bags. These work with, or without, the B-RAD system. Although we’ve only had them for a short time, the quality and design of the bags have been well thought out with great attention to detail, as you’d expect from Wolf Tooth.
The Pump Bag fits up to a 12” pump and still has enough room for a tube and a Wolftooth Pack Pliers/Tire lever. Use it for a light jacket or vest storage. Going on a long adventure? It’s a great place to stash extra nutrition bars, gels, fruit, whatever you might need to eat. With a water-resistant YKK zipper, it will keep everything stored inside nice and dry. Additionally, It includes an industrial hook-and-loop closure on the inside, which keeps the unused mounting holes covered.
As you can see from the pictures, it works perfectly with boss mounted top-tubes bike like the OPEN UP, for extended gravel adventures. If you don’t have these types of mounts, don’t worry, the included hook and loop straps have continuous beads of grippy silicone to keep the bag where you put it. The final touch is the Wolftooth logo zipper pull. Details are top notch on this great and compact bag.
The other new bag they have come up with is the Roll-Top Bag. As with the Pump Bag, this is made of the same high-quality ripstop nylon and detailed sewn seams. The Roll-Top Bag comes with a mounting plate so that you can attach it to the B-RAD base. It also includes a large grippy silicone strap and D-ring to cinch the bag tight to your bike to keep it from moving around. If you don’t have a B-RAD base, you can also attach the Roll Top Bag under your seat for quick and easy access to tubes, CO2, levers, and other gear needed for a quick trail service. Team it up with their Valais Dropper Post Seat Bag Adaptor, and you have a great seat bag for taking along on those extra long adventures.
Since we’ve only had these bags a short time, we’ll be evaluating them over the next few months, with a follow-up post to see how we used them, with and without the B-RAD system.
