Overview

My Race Face BSA30 bottom bracket on my Santa Cruz Tallboy started creaking under heavy load. I assumed this was due to defective bearings. Being a fan of Wheels Manufacturing, I ordered the Wheels Manufacturing BSA30 Angular bottom bracket. The BB spins effortlessly and the angular design is known to increase the life of the bearings due to its ability to better distribute the force from the crank.

Installation

Since I like to do things myself, I ordered the Wheels Manufacturing 48.5 wrench. This is proprietary to Wheels, however, I use their BB’s on all my bikes so it made sense to get, especially at the great price offered by Worldwide Cyclery. Installation was painless and I can now ride my Santa Cruz creak-free.

Final Thoughts

The smaller parts (Cinch Nylon preloader and crank bolt) we’re just replacement parts, however, it shows the large inventory available on Worldwide Cyclery. I was able to order every component, at a cheaper price than any other competitor-site.
