One of the best parts about owning a truck is how easy it makes transporting your bike. Without a tailgate pad, however, both your truck and bike can sustain serious damage. First, let’s start out with the buying experience. I looked around many different sites to buy this tailgate pad, but Worldwide Cyclery earned my business with a clean, easy to navigate, website that had all of the information I needed to make an informed decision on the product. I also really enjoyed the witty follow up emails that just cemented the feeling of great service.

Performance and Final Thoughts

Now that you understand who you are buying from, the only thing that made the process more satisfying was a great product. This SM/MD RaceFace tailgate pad fits perfectly on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma. I assume that means it would also fit any similar size truck such as a Nissan, Ford Ranger, or even a Honda Ridgeline (if you can call that a truck). The straps hold the frame of my Santa Cruz Chameleon securely and the bike stays put through all the driving conditions I have put it through. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for this type of bike carrying system.
