Overview

"Love this pack! The perfect size for single-day excursions on singletrack.

The EVOC CC 10 Hydration pack is just the right size for all of the essentials for days looping around in the woods. It has plenty of room for all of the necessary items, i.e. CO2 pump, patches, multi-tool, tire levers, 16 oz IPA/flask of bourbon, and many more. The bladder is big enough to hold enough water to stay hydrated and works flawlessly with the clip attachment to hose (no threading of a hose required here). It also hangs nicely in the pack with the added support from the velcro strap.

A few tips on the bladder: always empty any remaining water after use and blow out the hose. The night before a ride, I typically fill it up and place it in the fridge. I've found that there is enough insulation in the hydration pack that it tends to stay fairly cold for the bulk of my rides.

Additional Features

For night riders, there is a handy light clip built into the outside of the EVOC pack. The helmet carrier holds the dome protector well between rides and generally speaking the build quality of the bag seems solid. The weight to material quality seems appropriate but I suspect the zippers might be the weak point; however, that's probably a few thousand miles from now. The sun glass pocket is handy too! Oh, I dig the little zippered mesh pocket inside the bag, great for keys or wallet/ID/cash. It's conveniently located at the top of the bag for easy access but protected from the elements as it is inside the main compartment.

Final Thoughts

All in all, I would highly recommend this as a day pack, it really can hold more than you think if it's packed well, even a layer or raincoat if needed.
