e*thirteen has not been in the tire game for a long time but their existing tire will show you a good time for sure. Tons of grip, support and a good tread pattern that isn't sluggish and keeps you going. With the release of the e*thirteen Semi Slick Tires, we expect to see e*thirteen tires on a lot of more bikes.
The biggest downfall with the TRS LG1 and TRS tires was that it made for a really dependable front tire, but as you could imagine, not an ideal rear tire for some riders and riding conditions. The Semi Slick Tires are intended to offer you the traction and support but with less rolling resistance which is ultimately what you want in a rear tire. Tightly spaced Center Knobs help provide some serious braking bite.
The Tire will be offered in a 27.5" x 2.35" and 29" x 2.35" size with the option to choose between two different compounds for 3 different riding types. The LG1 (Enduro and DH) Plus and the LG1 (Enduro and DH) Race and TRS for Trail riding. Depending on what you are looking for in a tire, e*thirteen has some options.
Pairing the Semi Slick tire with the LG1 Plus Tire is recommended not only because mix-matching tire brands looks weird but these tires went through extensive testing together and were designed to work perfectly as a pair.
Pretty much everything you need to know is shown in the picture above but don't worry. We are going to be getting some extensive testing in on this bad boy in the weeks to come so keep an eye out for a review to be posted soon!
