The Bike Yoke Revive dropper is not your average dropper seatpost. Not only can you bleed the post within a few seconds, but the new design style makes it much less prone to mechanical failure. A huge plus for any riders, our customer John just picked one up for his Hightower and loves it. Read on to learn more!
This review is for the Bike Yoke Revive dropper seatpost. For starters, it is on a Santa Cruz Hightower LT. I had been using 9point8 previously on my bikes but decided to give this a try after all the great things I have read about it. The two things I first noticed were:
Even when caked with dirt it seems to stay consistent and not lose the speed like other dropper seatposts. The Revive aspect of the seatpost is handy but has not been needed except after the original install. Lastly is the trigger, the Bike Yoke trigger is one of the best “stock” triggers I have ever come across. This post is expensive but is well worth the price in my opinion.
The initial cost outweighs the problems, money, and “downtime” which you can encounter with other posts. Looks to be easily rebuildable for the future and very reliable. The 160mm drop seems to work great and my next frame will have a lower stand over to accommodate the 185mm size. Highly recommended over all other posts!! Spend the money up front and avoid the issues with other posts down the road.
