**Frame Only** Banshee Paradox V3 - Refined and evolved. Keith started with a fresh slate. Every element of the frame was considered, designed, refined and optimized. The outcome is an extraordinary hardtail. Not a single part remains from the V2. The main focus of the paradox V3 project was on achieving optimal vertical compliance and vibration damping. This was achieved using FEA to tune the dropouts and yoke designs, to purposefully design in controlled vertical flex. Aggressive geometry, combined with our bespoke hydroformed tubeset and internally ribbed stays, the Paradox V3 delivers a comfortable ride with vertical compliance and incredible power transfer due to best in class lateral stiffness. The results of all this hard work are a hardtail that is quite simply a joy to ride all day. *** Please contact us about getting your Deviate Highlander custom built by Worldwide Cyclery ***Highlander 2 This is the Highlander II - Deviate’s all-carbon, all-conquering trail bike, freshly reconfigured for 2023. A bike for bike park laps, all day rides, messing about in the woods and everything in between. A bike for reaching the highest, most remote peaks, before screaming down the other side in a stream of speed and laughter. If the Claymore is a huge broadsword, then the Highlander II is a rapier – lighter, perhaps; more agile – but just as deadly in the right hands. It punches far, far above its weight. Carefully considered geometry suits the most discerning of riders, and 145mm of high-pivot travel will get you out of anything you get yourself into, with astounding performance that matches bikes with far more suspension travel. Any Trail. Any Time. We’ve taken what we think is the best high-pivot trail bike on the market, and made it even better. A 65-degree head angle with a 160mm fork is steep enough to be nimble in the sketchiest of woody descents, but slack enough for stability when you break out of the trees into a steep, warp-factor-nine trail. The reach is perfect for comfort when climbing, and roomy enough for flat out descending with ultimate control. Standover is enormous, and the continuous seat tube accommodates the longest dropper posts on the market. The Highlander II is also available in 4 sizes, from Small to X-Large, to suit a wide range of riders. The Highlander II can be optionally paired with a specially tuned Öhlins TTX2Air shock for class-leading, bump-eating performance and pedalling efficiency. High Pivot Point Every rear suspension system has a pivot point. The suspension design on the Highlander uses a high, single pivot point, which results in a rearward axle path. This allows the rear wheel to move proportionally rearward with any impact, while the bike continues to maintain forward momentum. It is a sensation that you will notice from your first ride - the Highlander II can negotiate chunky terrain with a speed and confidence that many bikes packing much more rear wheel travel simply can’t match. Careful idler placement means that the suspension performance on the Highlander II is the best of all possible worlds. The idler location controls anti-squat with a +100% anti-squat curve to eliminate pedal induced suspension bob. Idler Unlike conventional, non-idler equipped suspension designs, we can virtually eliminate pedal kickback while creating a balanced anti-squat curve which is controlled by the idler position. In the real world this means the bike pedals incredibly well, without bobbing, while the suspension remains fully active: the Highlander II has an uncanny ability to pedal smoothly through rough terrain. Linkage Deviate's linkage is designed to offer a progressive leverage curve with support for harder and more aggressive riders. High volume air shocks and coil shocks are compatible. The idler means that the leverage ratio of the Highlander II is tuned independently of anti-squat and pedal kickback (of which there is a negligible amount). Suspension Kinematics The unique kinematics of a high pivot point design – a rearward axle path and high anti-rise – means that, under heavy braking, chassis stability and the geometry are maintained. Essentially, aggressive riding is rewarded. The sensation of “the bike not holding you back” is very real on the Highlander II. Riders find themselves hitting lines that they have previously reserved for their downhill bike (or their imagination). Cable Management When it comes to cable management, internal cable routing is great for a sleek looking bike, yet, it does make the cables harder to access when changing parts or carrying out maintenance. Our solution to this is a cable ‘gutter’ that runs down the underside of the top-tube, designed to keep your cables tucked away and out of sight, whilst maintaining accessibility to the cables. Revel took one of our favorite bike in the line up and made it even better. The Ranger V2 features an all new rear triangle, links, hardware and SRAM’s UDH Derailleur hanger. The all new Ranger shares the effective and simple hardware design that we introduced with Rail 29". This time we took it a step further and gave the new Ranger a collet axle design with larger 15mm bearings on the lower rearward pivot. This allows for increased frame stiffness, more clearance, easier maintenance, and an even quieter ride. Revel created an all new set of links to take advantage of this hardware design. SRAM’s UDH derailleur hanger has been incorporated to keep Ranger compatible with the latest and greatest drivetrain technologies. *** Please contact us about getting your Deviate Claymore custom built by Worldwide Cyclery ***The Deviate Claymore - a 165mm High Pivot Enduro Bike The Claymore was a medieval Scottish two-handed great sword. Extremely long - typically the blade was over 140cm in length - the Claymore was more than merely a sword: it was a symbol of strength and martial prowess, and an unmistakable link to the rugged Scottish Highlands for whoever bore it. Deviate’s Claymore is the same, born in the rocks and roots of the Scottish Highlands, and the weapon of choice for the most brutal terrain anywhere in the world. Whether you get your kicks from plummeting down the nastiest, root strewn drops, or hurtling between the tapes so fast things get blurry around the edges, the Claymore is the bike for you. Speed without sacrifice We wanted the Claymore to be the best handling, long-travel enduro bike out there - and we think we’ve succeeded. It’s the perfect combination of blindingly fast on the straights, slot-car accurate in the corners and capable of mixing it up with trail bikes on the ups. The design brief was to create an enduro bike capable of winning on the toughest of enduro stages, with pedal performance to match a trail bike and an element of playfulness for those days when you’re not between the tape. High Pivot Point To achieve this seemingly impossible brief, we once again turned to a high pivot point suspension system. The key feature of a high pivot suspension system, is its unique ability - thanks to the rearward axle path - to smooth out the nastiest of trails, and to stabilise the bike when it’s deep in the suspension stroke. Couple this with a precisely placed chain idler to minimise suspension-induced kickback and control anti-squat (aka pedal induced bob), and you have a pretty magical suspension system. Deviate has been designing high pivot point bikes since 2016 - flying the flag of what back then was a niche trend in suspension design. Forward to 2022 and it flatters us to see so many high pivot bikes achieving success at the highest level. Our extensive experience designing nothing but high pivots means we can confidently claim that our system is the most robust and well engineered out there. Geometry We designed the Claymore to be confidence inspiring no matter what the terrain. The unique kinematics of a high pivot point design maintains chassis stability and geometry under heavy braking. This allows our designers to achieve stability and straight line speed while maintaining sensible geometry. Of course, the head-angle is slack, the reach is long and we’ve also made the Claymore’s seat tube steep, to help with climbing. But it’s not too steep; not too slack; not too long. Not every enduro track or secret trail is the same, so we’ve designed the Claymore to hit the sweet spot where flat-out stability and snake-like agility meet. If you like to make the world a blur between the tapes on a flat out alpine enduro track, or if the steepest, gnarliest tightest terrain is more your thing, this is the bike for you. The wait is over, the new Revel Rail 29 is here and it's ready to party! Rocking 155mm of CBF patented suspension out back and a 160mm fork, the Rail 29 is a long travel 29” bike that strikes the balance between efficient and a great pedaler while also being ready to take the chunk and big hits you would expect from a bike with over 6 inches of rear travel. The Revel Rail 29 is one of the best all-around mountain bikes we have ever ridden, great for technical sections both up and downhill, big hits, going fast, or cruising the backcountry. Check out our video all about the Revel Rail 29! [Video] Filling out their line of full-suspension mountain bikes, the Rail 29 takes what we loved from the Rail with 27.5” wheels and moves that to a package with 29” rails. But don't make the mistake of thinking Revel just copied over a bike with larger wheels. This Rail 29 has been designed from the ground up with a bunch of improvements. To start the pivot hardware has been redesigned for better serviceability and durability, now only needing a single 6mm hex key to take apart the entire CBF linkage system without needing to remove the crankset, mechanics, and home wrenchers unite and sing praise! Next, the rear shock link has also been shortened to better with coils and put less stress on the shock shaft since this is a longer travel bike and made to get rowdy. There is also an addition of a SRAM UDH as well as this is Revel’s first bike with ISCG-05 tabs for a guide & bash if you choose to need that. Revel makes some extremely awesome bikes with what we think are some amazing build options. We understand that everyone has their own personal preferences for certain parts of the bike. Revel actually has different options for some components on their build spec list! If you are interested in a bike and would like to change some of the options we're more than happy to work with you! Forbidden Dreadnought Whether you’re on the start line or in line to shred your local spot, you’ll be equipped to blast any jump line, rock garden, and rut track in your path aboard the Forbidden Dreadnought. Bigger, burlier and ready for anything. This mountain taming bruiser of a bicycle knows no bound, and neither will you. Expanding our category defying high pivot design from the Druid and applying it to a platform for the extremes. A dh bike in all but the small print, ready for the rowdiest back-country lines, the steepest race stages and the shadiest gaps in the bike park. Bring the big guns, bring the Dreadnought and fear nothing. The only thing this bike needs is a pilot ready to feed it a non-stop diet of rough and rowdy terrain. Carbon Construction As the heart of any frame, the quality of the carbon construction is paramount to both ride quality and durability. To this end, we partnered with one of the leading manufacturers in the business which allows us to stand behind our product 100%. Hardware Our hardware is a testament to our attention to detail, from the forged Rate Control linkages to the custom stainless steel screws that hold everything together, we have spared no expense in the finishing of the Dreadnought leaving nothing to chance. Water Bottle Fitment Even our smallest Dreadnought frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not. Frame Protection A quiet bike is a fast bike and a clean bike is less prone to problems, so we developed a full suite of custom frame protection to keep the noisy bits quiet, the hard to clean bits free from crud and that precious carbon protected from flying debris. Cable Routing We don’t discriminate against rightys or leftys and our adaptable cable routing allows you to neatly route the Dreadnought’s cables and hoses no matter where in the world you come from or with what hand you operate your rear brake with. Accessory Mount The ‘under the top tube’ mounting screws allow for the attachment of various accessory mounting solutions; pump, tools, a banana, the kitchen sink, go crazy, just don’t hang a water bottle there. Sensible Standards Sometimes change isn’t progress. We embrace standards with actual benefits, such as a UDH, threaded 73mm BB, 148mm rear hub spacing, a 31.6mm seatpost, a ZS44/ZS56 headset and a 205 x 65 Trunnion shock. If you are interested in a bike and would like to change some of the options we're more than happy to work with you! We want to ensure every Revel purchase is everything you could want. If you're placing an order please let us know any changes you'd like to make in the notes during checkout. After you've purchased your Revel we will reach back out and ensure that we are going to send you exactly what you wanted! KEY Features on the Revel Ranger V2 Colors: Paint and decals for Ranger V2. We have Tang – which you are familiar with from the Rail 27.5 and we are keeping the De La Coal color, but this time with new copper/gold decals. Forbidden Druid V2 The Forbidden Druid was the Canadians brands first entry into the full suspension mountain bike market, and it came with a wave and an immediate cult following with its high pivot witchcraft. Now on its second iteration, Forbidden has only improved the Druid V2 to make it the ultimate trail bike. With geometry that effortlessly balances stability and agility, the Druid is a trail bike through and through. This bike is equally at home hammering out trail rides after work, ripping weekend shuttle laps, and crushing epic alpine traverses. This humble (on paper) trail bike boasts on-trail characteristics that don’t just punch above their class they defy classification altogether. A bike that delivers pedal-all-day efficiency when you want it and tech-descent-tackling confidence when you need it. A short travel trail bike by definition but a kilometer-crushing, chunder-devouring, fun machine by any other description. Druid V2 Frame Layout The second iteration of Druid see a shift to an inverted four-bar suspension design. This evolution was necessitated by our desire to retain the ride characteristics of the original Druid while achieving certain design goals. At the same time, we shed a little bit of weight from the main frame, whilst ensuring the bike still passes our rigorous testing regime. Hardware The bearing-in-rocker design of our new forged V2 Rate Control Linkage allows us to use locking collet axles and oversized bearings for easy maintenance and dependability. This option isn’t the lightest but trading a few grams for a long-lasting, easily serviced linkage, was the practical choice. Idler Pulley System Druid now sports an 18-tooth steel idler equipped with a solid lube bearing as standard. These changes, along with a refined tooth profile increase the idler’s longevity and ensure compatibility with the latest drivetrains. Our new idler, along with its modular mounting system is compatible and optimized for use with both 52mm and 55mm chain lines. Water Bottle Fitment Even our smallest Druid frame size can fit a full-size 26oz water bottle, regardless of your rear shock reservoir. Remember, hydration is your friend, but sweaty backs most definitely are not. Check out the links below for Videos/Articles about Revel Bikes! Frame Protection A quiet bike is a fast bike and a clean bike is less prone to problems, so we developed a full suite of custom frame protection to keep the noisy bits quiet and the hard to clean bits free from crud. Cable Routing We don’t discriminate against rightys or leftys and our adaptable cable routing allows you to neatly route the Druid’s cables and hoses no matter where in the world you come from or with what hand you operate your rear brake with. New for V2 is the inclusion of clamping hose/cable ports on the rear triangle. This ensures no unwanted movement anywhere along the frame. Accessory Mount The ‘under the top tube’ mounting screws allow for the attachment of various accessory mounting solutions; pump, tools, a banana, the kitchen sink, go crazy, just don’t hang a water bottle there. Sensible Standards Threaded BB, Boost rear wheel spacing, press in headset cups – we only use what makes sense from a design and durability standpoint. You won’t find any questionable trends here – looking at you headset cable routing. Banshee Phantom V3.2 - The king of “downcountry" When the first prototype Phantom first hit the trails back in 2013 there really wasn’t a category for this kind of hard charging short travel 29er. “Downcountry” hadn’t been coined yet, and the 29er haters thought a bike with these numbers could only be for XC, and not any fun. Well, the Phantom helped establish a whole new classification without even meaning to. It was simply a bike that we enjoyed riding ourselves. The Phantom V3.2 still spearheads the fact that short travel 29er’s can be a blast to ride. The playful Phantom V3.2 sports the KS2 linkage with 115mm of travel. Incredible trail feel with the perfect amount of feedback that rewards you for nailing the perfect line, yet lets you flirt with the limits for when you push things. The Phantom V3.2 really provides that amazing flow state synergy between the rider and trail that we all dream about. Crestline Bikes is a new company focused on making the best gravity focused bikes possible. Here we have the RS205, a limited edition Downhill frame sporting a unique suspension layout with a virtual high pivot design with 205mm of rear travel. The RS205 is a collaboration between Crestline Bikes and Cascade Components, with Crestline doing the frame design and geometry and Cascade coming in to help fine tune the suspension kinematics and machine the alloy parts on the frame. The Crestline RS205 has held nothing back when it comes to making the fastest frame possible. From the geometry based on Worldcup Racing geometry to the suspension kinematic differing from most other high-pivot or mid-pivot bikes is the way the instant center moves throughout the bike’s travel. The RS205 also has a ton of adjustment with the ZS56mm headtube being able to run a reach adjust headset up to 10mm front or back with a straight steerer or 6mm front or back with a tapered steerer. In the stock form the RS205 comes in a mullet configuration but there will also be 29” dropouts available from Cascade Components directly. The Canfield Lithium is the first long-travel 29er worthy of wearing a skull on the head tube. Designed to destroy big descents with reckless abandon, unafraid of the effort required to earn them. From enduro stages to bike park laps and backcountry adventures, the Lithium is a big-wheeled warrior ready for anything the mountain throws your way thanks to the secret sauce of the patented Canfield Balance Formula™ suspension. With either 163 or 151 millimeters of rear wheel travel (adjustable via shock stroke) paired to the active and efficient CBF™ tuned linkage, the Lithium is born in the lineage of the legendary Balance. But thanks to 29-inch wheels, it’s got even more of a penchant for ludicrous speed and stands ready to flatten any terrain and wage all-out war on the Strava segments of lesser bikes. But don’t think for a second Canfield forgot fun in favor of going flat out. The signature Canfield geo has been optimized to create a bike as lively and intuitive as it is stable and confidence inspiring. The 430-millimeter chainstays make last-second maneuvers and manuals second nature, and a 64.5-degree head angle paired with a 170-millimeter fork makes any line choice possible. We’ve also refined the reach, stack, seat tube length and standover across all sizes for a more dialed fit. CBF ™ has been refined even further for the Lithium. The result is anti-squat that is more focused in the ideal range throughout the entire range of travel. An updated leverage curve creates more beginning and mid-stroke support for an even better pedaling platform, and slightly more progressive end of stroke ramp-up. But the benefits don't end at pedaling efficiency. Chaingrowth has been reduced, resulting in even less pedal kickback to keep you glued to the pedals under hard compressions. And anti-rise values are lower for more composed braking and preserved geometry when you throw out the anchor on steep sections of trail. While the Lithium’s frame may look familiar at first glance, there’s more than meets the eye. An all-new forged clamshell bottom bracket assembly reduces the number of individual welded parts, simplifying production, ensuring precise frame alignment and creating an even stronger junction between the down tube, seat tube and linkage. A beautifully machined 7075 T6 alloy one-piece upper link inspired by our big-hit bikes like the Balance and ONE.2 paired with an all-new rear triangle keep things stout and stiff. One-piece forged vertical stays are at the heart of the redesigned rear triangle, maximizing stiffness, strength and durability. A new horizontal seat stay brace ties it all together, further bolstering lateral stiffness. The Canfield Lithium is the drug of choice for gravity junkies afflicted by big climbs standing between them and their fix. *** Please contact us about getting your Deviate Highlander custom built by Worldwide Cyclery ***Highlander 140mm Deviate has taken the unparalleled suspension action, gloriously sleek design, and sweet spot geometry of the Highlander 140 to make it the ultimate all mountain bike. Packing 140mm of rear travel with the option of a 140mm, 150mm or 160mm fork up front. The Highlander 140 is designed to be the world’s most capable do it all trail bike, as happy on all-day back-country epics as carving turns at the bike park. The Highlander 140 shifts the focus a little – with a little less travel but geometry that is more suited for an all day pedal you can really get the ultimate backcountry setup with the Highlander 140. High Pivot Point Deviate’s high pivot point, and the careful idler placement, mean the suspension performance on the Highlander is the best of all possible worlds. The rearward axle path lets the bike flow over rough terrain, and as the idler location controls anti-squat, the Highlander has negligible pedal kickback and a deliberate anti-squat curve which eliminates pedal induced suspension bob. The unique kinematics of a high pivot point design maintains chassis stability and geometry under heavy braking, meaning aggressive riding is rewarded. One bike - two flavors Utilizing the same front & rear triangle, you can have the option to switch between the Highlander 140 or 150 with the swap of some suspension linkages. The underlying philosophy is to ensure that rideRockShox of different sizes can experience the same intended weight balance and ride characteristics of our bikes. The goal with Dreadnought V2 was to maintain its uncanny ability to absolutely plough through rough terrain while giving rideRockShox more mid-stroke support to pump and generate speed from the ground. We’ve done this without giving up any sensitivity and grip, while also improving bottom-out control and optimizing braking characteristics. SB165 Mixed Wheel 29"/27.5" Master of the gnarniverse. A bold claim for some. Fact-checked humility for the SB165. At home outside the tape, beyond the norm. Taken on the trails nobody talks about. Trusted on the lines where mistakes can’t happen. Comfortable with all the chaos. Pleased when you’re puckered. Fearless of your fear. The SB165 is built tough. The frame meets Yeti DH testing standards, well beyond what others do for a 165mm trail bike. This thing will last for a lifetime, but we gave you a warranty to match just for good measure. Across our line, Yeti have chosen a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve in the beginning and mid-section of travel where pedaling commonly occurs a.k.a. the pedaling zone. This creates an efficient pedaling platform through your entire pedaling zone, as opposed to one single point. After the pedaling zone, there is an inflection point where the Switch Infinity link moves down, dropping the anti-squat drastically. Riders are typically not pedaling in this zone, so chain forces have less of an effect on the suspension performance. Decoupling of the chain forces allows the suspension to work more efficiently to absorb impacts making the feel of a Yeti distinct. Click here if you would like to demo one of our Yeti's! The updated Rail29 brings together Revel’s years of high-performance engineering with their fanatical commitment to perfect the details to create a hard charging, yet uniquely nimble platform. Without the need for major platform and geometry changes, Revel brought simplicity to this update: more travel, more colors, and more fun. Now spec’d with a 170 fork, this bike is ready for anything you got. Coming out swinging in 2024 with a longer fork, all new build specs and two remarkable new colors, the Rail29 is hitting well above its weight class. Taking direct feedback from employee and customer ride experiences alike, Revel is giving the Rail29 just what is needs, taking its fork spec from a 160mm to 170mm. More travel means as the ride gets rowdy, this bike comes right back at it wanting more, providing the ultimate confidence at the start line, between the tape, and in the park. As all Revel color names come to life, the new colors were named at a company-wide, employee brainstorm. Cowboy Coffee takes Revel to the start line of one of their favorite local trails. During the summer months, you’ll find quiet offices at Revel HQ Tuesday evenings while the employees head up to Snowmass Bike Park to race local DH series and ride till dark. The dark black with flashy gold decals pays homage to one of the favorite racecourses, the infamous Cowboy Coffee where relentless rock gardens, massive drops, and blind steeps come together for one rowdy ride. The Flow State name arrived while Revel was cruising the California coast at dawn and later ripping singletrack looking over the Pacific Ocean at dusk. In an environment unlike the Rocky Mountains, Revel found their Flow State in the presence of the ocean and is bringing this intrepid blue frame with black decals in the updated Rail29 to a trail near you. Presenting the revamped Shan 5 – Production Privée's flagship and most versatile model, which riders find an absolute joy. Now meticulously crafted in their Andorra facility, they've taken its performance to unparalleled levels. The latest version of the Shan 5 stands as a testament to a vision that Production Privée initiated three years ago, in partnership with Forestal, aimed at refining their production methodologies. Adhering to the core identity of the Shan N5, they incorporated a multi-material design philosophy. Steel, with its resilient and unique attributes, remains a dominant choice. By utilizing the specialized properties of the MCS 4130 heat-treated steel, they've struck an impeccable balance of mechanical strength and weight for the front triangle. Yet, the innovations didn't stop there. Aiming to uplift the frame's dynamic attributes, after extensive evaluations spanning from mechanical attributes to reliability, they embraced the carbon composite for the swingarm. With Forestal Group's profound expertise in carbon composites, they engineered a swingarm that's nearly half the weight of the earlier model, while simultaneously enhancing the frame's dynamic capabilities. This transition offers a plethora of advantages for riders. The diminished unsprung weight translates to a more vibrant suspension, and their bespoke carbon fiber lay-up technique allows them to pinpoint the desired stiffness for the frame. The end product? A bike that doesn't just feel lighter but is remarkably agile. They've broadened the frame's operational spectrum, ensuring improved pedaling efficiency without compromising its downhill competencies. *All frame orders include an injected TPU chainstay protector by default. We want to ensure every Revel purchase is everything you could want. If you're placing an order please let us know any changes you'd like to make in the notes during checkout.
