I recently got and installed a new set of RockShox Recon forks. Despite the fact that Worldwide Cyclery's website suggested I buy this pump when I got the forks... I didn't. After my first ride, I got back home and ordered it up. The forks were great but I'm not exactly the lightest rider and it needed a couple pumps up to be just right.
The Rockshox High-Pressure Shock Pump works great. I screwed it on, gave it two pumps, and my fork was dialed in. The action on the pump is smooth and efficient. The handle has a little sturdy "kicker" on it you can use to push on with the palm of your hand. The gauge is easy to read so you know just where you are with air pressure. This pump goes up to 300 PSI so it should work well for your shocks as well as forks. As a note... when you unscrew the pump from the valve you can lose 5 ish PSI so it's worth an extra little pump before unscrewing. This is not a flaw in the pump just the way it naturally works when unscrewing from the Schrader Valve.
The hose on the pump rotates and clips into the shaft so it folds up to half size. It's small and light enough to throw in your bag and carry with you for last minute adjustments. Despite the fact that it is light it is very well made and feels solid. This pump performs flawlessly will live in my shop for many many years to come!
