Overview

The Ergon SM Pro Saddle provides a comfortable ride for distance riding and long climbs. This saddle is strong; I do not notice any flex or weird sounds when pressing my weight into it during technical climbs.

Favorite Features

My favorite feature is how the back is curved to assist with steep climbs. This helps reduce struggle when your weight is shifting too far back. Another nice feature is the QickClick adapter that is included. This screws to the bottom and allows you to add Topeak saddlebags.

Sizing

Ergon makes it easy to pick which saddle to choose by only offering two sizes. You don't need to do anything weird to find your sit bone width; just head over to their web page and there is an online saddle selector which will give a recommendation based on a few questions. I'm 6'2 200 lbs and wear a size 34 pant and the M/L is a good fit for me.

Final Thoughts

I general do rides with at least 2000 feet elevation gain and this saddle is great because it is comfy enough to go unnoticed.
