Customer Review: RockShox Pike DJ Fork

Many of us have dirt jumpers. Whether it be a cheaper complete build or a custom build that cost just about as much as a carbon trail bike would cost. The fork you choose to ride is arguably the most crucial part to having a comfortable and stable bike. You could be doing tricks at the local skate park or riding the local pump track. Either way, you want something you can trust. RockShox created the Pike DJ fork just for you. Bryan Gelegonya recently upgraded to the Pike DJ and sent over this review for us. I just picked up a new Santa Cruz DJ and the only thing this bike was lacking was a great fork. So the only option in my opinion was to go with the pike! I checked around a little and found Worldwide Cyclery and decided to give them a try. They were selling it for a good price and when I signed up for their newsletter and got a discount. The fork came when they said it would and I couldn't be happier.

The fork preforms flawlessly.  All the adjustments, rebound, lock out, and compression work great. When riding the pump track I like to run it pretty close to locked out and I have noticed that I am picking up a lot more speed than I'm used to. The fork is very ridged and responsive. It rails berms with ease, exactly what you would expect from the pike. Super smooth take offs and landings on the jump lines. Confidence inspiring.
