This review was written by Nathaniel Gutchess who recently upgraded his dropper post from a Magura Vyron to the tried and true Fox Transfer Factory Series Dropper Post. Check out what he had to say!

So, I've replaced my Magura Vyron seatpost with this Fox Transfer Dropper Post. I personally think the Vyron was too slow and didn't care for the remote. I've owned KS LEV’s, RockShox Reverbs, and Command Posts. First, the fit and finish on the Fox Transfer is beautiful. The Kashima coating is trick and functional - I believe it's the nicest looking post. The Transfer Post is about as fast as a Command Post with a little more thumb exertion needed. I have opted for the Wolf Tooth thumb remote, which is a nice piece. There is slight movement in the transfer post, but honestly they all have some. I like the "thunk" noise the post makes when it tops out, there is no mistaking you're topped out.
Bottom line – I would definitely recommend. Check it out on my Jet 9. Installation is straightforward and simple. Just insert a derailleur cable with housing (which you have to purchase separately) fed thru your frame and hook it into the post. Viola! Done!
Performance has been fast and flawless down the trail. I've had zero issues with reliability. This truly is the best dropper I have owned thus far. I keep it lubed with stanchion lube and always transport with it dropped so it doesn't get dinged!
