Yeti is known for producing some amazing looking bikes, and when it comes to their 30th Anniversary SB6-C, there is no exception. The Yeti SB6C is already a race-proven bike, so when we heard the 30th Anniversary Edition was going to be on that frame, we were all very excited to see how this bike would look. The turquoise and yellow paint scheme is one of the nicest we have seen, and we were fortunate enough to see a few roll through the shop. With only 250 of these in production, you’d have to consider yourself pretty lucky to get your hands on one.
While some of the components remain the same as the standard Yeti SB6c, it’s the smaller details that really set this bike apart. Other than the sleek paint job on the frame, the first thing you will probably notice is the custom set of Fox 36 forks painted to match the rest of the color scheme with the bike. Same goes for the wheels – you will notice the tried and true DT Swiss EX471 rims with custom stickers to that go with the overall look of the bike.
Looking at some of the smaller components, you will notice some blue anodizing all over the bike; the Chris King headset, RaceFace chainring, seatpost collar, and derailleur hanger all feature some trick blue anodizing. There is also the custom RaceFace SixC carbon cranks and RaceFace Next Carbon bars with their Yeti turquoise colorway to accentuate the look and feel of the bike.
Overall, we are very impressed with this bike and excited that we got to build a few up for some of our customers. If you are interested in a Yeti, please contact us or come visit our shop!
