PLEASE MAKE SURE TO LEAVE NOTES ON YOUR MODEL & TUNE Raise your confidence and your fork’s performance with a Lift Damper upgrade. Lift Damper cartridges are easy to install and provide an immediate performance upgrade. There are five tunes offered for the Lift, matching rider weights from 110-270 lbs. Weight-specific shim-stacks provide riders with perfectly matched damping and full usability of the external rebound and compression adjustment ranges. Valving has been optimized to deliver a seamless crossover from the low to high-speed circuits and provide a predictable and responsive terrain-hugging ride. Flow-path optimization and advanced needle shaping have minimized fluid turbulence, yielding quiet operation and superior sensitivity. Through a careful reduction in dynamic seals and by utilizing the latest bushing material from industry-leader IGUS, stiction has been virtually eliminated. Lift Dampers turn good forks into great forks. Compatibility 35MM 38MM ZEB 35MM Short Travel (Pike C1 + 140mm Max) Compression Assembly Lift features a spring-backed, low-friction Chocoluxe IFP for volume compensation, rider-matched compression valving, and a 12-position low-speed compression adjustment. Lift gets you dialed-in quickly. Low-Friction Sealhead Lift utilizes the latest low-friction bushing material from industry-leader Igus. Lift also features just a single major dynamic seal. These are just two of the reasons Lift is distinctly smooth. Cartridge Format Lift Dampers are ready-to-go, drop-in performance upgrades. Installation and service require no specialty tools, and the service interval is a massive 200 hours of ride time. Five Available Tunes White (110-150 lbs. / 50-68 kgs.), Yellow (140-180 lbs. / 64-82 kgs.), Green (170-210 lbs. / 77-95 kgs.), Blue (200-240 lbs. / 91 -109 kgs.), and Red (230-270 lbs. / 105-123 kgs.). Shown with compression adjustment fully open. Isolated Control Lift's seamless crossover from low to high-speed damping means the external low-speed compression adjustment can be set anywhere in range and have little to no effect on high-speed damping. Supple and Supported Compared to competitors' dampers, Lift displays remarkably low baseline damping at low-speeds and increases damping with greater speed-sensitivity. Tune Selection Help Weight: The first thing we consider when tuning suspension is weight. Your weight provides considerable force since it’s the largest mass in motion. Our suggested weight ranges reference a rider's weight – not rider weight ready to ride, but just bare weight. We do this for simplicity, and because most rider’s gear weighs roughly the same – and the differences aren’t large enough to skew the recommendations in a meaningful way. It’s a similar story for bike weight. The bike weights of our test riders ranged from 29-37 lbs. with an average weight around 33 lbs. But, if your bike weight is significantly heavier than this average – 40+ lbs – consider choosing the firmer tune if you’re in one of overlap ranges of our recommendations. Riding Style and Preference: Do you like to plow or pop? Prefer a planted or playful ride? In both examples, the former would likely prefer more and the latter less damped suspension. This is not a binary choice, but rather helps steer you in one direction or another. When looking at two adjacent tunes, it’s not as though one represents a pogo stick (undamped) and the other a baja-ready trophy truck (highly damped), but that’s a useful metaphor to illustrate their differences. The lighter of the two tunes will suit the rider who likes a more active ride, values feedback from the trail, and likes to work the terrain for speed and fun. The heavier tune better suits the point and shoot style rider who wants the confidence provided by suspension that feels surefooted and highly composed, even when the terrain is ugly. Travel: Stroke length influences ride feel because it’s the distance suspension can respond to an event. There is a widely held opinion that total travel has an inverse relationship to overall damping. Aggressive short-travel riders are trying to do more with less, so tend towards a quicker ramp up of damping and support. Conversely, long-travel fans have a lot of stroke to work with and lean more towards a preference for lighter high-speed compression tunes. Consider how much travel you have and how that compares to minimum and maximum travel of the Lift Damper model compatible with your fork. The Ribbon Coil gives you the supple action of coil with end stroke control previously found only with air forks. Compared to air springs, fewer seals reduce stiction, allowing the fork to be more reactive to the terrain and extending service life. MRP's Ramp Control manages bottom-out events and other high frequency impacts to ensure riders stay high in the travel and in control. Robust Outcast arch provides lateral stiffness and doesn't fill with mud PSST pressure relief valve at the back of the fork lowers aids in equalization at high altitude and under aggressive riding 8 position crown-adjustable low-speed compression damping Bladder-free IFP damper design Includes QR-Style Thru-Axle Soft (Yellow), Medium (Green) & Firm (Blue) springs included.
